Day 6 - Port Pirie

Good morning Port Pirie!  And what a beautiful start to the day it was as I looked out my door this morning.

Today's plan is "housework" - YAY!  Yep, it doesn't matter whether you are home or on holidays, meals need to be cooked, floors need to be swept, clothes, dishes and dogs need to be washed, not that we haven't been cooking meals, sweeping floors and washing dishes already, but you get the drift.  You just can't get away from it.  Perfect opportunity today as the forecast was for 21 degrees and sunny so it was time to get Teresa Twin Tub out and get the washing on the line so the caravan doesn't look like a Chinese laundry trying to get everything dry (we've had to resort to that before!).  And given Miss Kitty will need a weekly bath as well to keep her smelling sweet it makes sense to get her done while we have an external water supply, which won't be the case always for the next few weeks.

I have to say I'm so impressed with the Aldi Twin Tub - Teresa to her friends.  What an awesome little machine.  It handled everything I threw at it (well - in it) today with ease.  A queen size sheet and 2 pillow cases easy!  Quick, quiet and all the washing done!  Love it.  Miss Kitty on the other hand was less than impressed with her new bathing routine and frankly I'm agreeing with her - it wasn't the easiest of baths and I'm not looking forward to at least 10 more of them during our time away.

There wasn't any touring today (aside from Shane going to the supermarket and to get fuel for tomorrow) and not much else to take photos of so I'll leave you with our sunset tonight and photos across to Port Pirie township from the back of our site.
